They've been putting it off for days, but on Saturday night Helen and Paul shared a cosy bedtime chat alone under the covers in the den.

Frustrated by not being able to speak freely about their feelings for each other, they used cryptic phrases - but even these couldn't hide their true emotions.

Before bed the pair enjoyed a dip in the hot tub.

"Do you reckon if I whispered something to you they'd hear me?" Helen asked coyly.

"Well if its what I think you're thinking," he replied as the pair gazed into each other's eyes.

Helen suggested they play Chinese Whispers, but Paul reminded her their game would benefit from more than two players.

"If I was up against you I wouldn't want to leave you in the house," Paul admitted.

"You'd be all right with me gone," Helen said, putting a brave face on things. "I'd be all right with you gone."

But when Paul suggested Helen sleep in the den on her own she complained she'd be too scared.

"What is Big G going to think about that?" Paul asked, still concerned about the prospect of meeting her angry boyfriend.

"I dunno' I haven't spoken to him for eight weeks," Helen replied nonchalantly. "For all I know he could be out pulling birds."

"I know, but it doesn't look good does it?" Paul continued. "There's got to be something completely amazing or else you wouldn't stay with him?"

But despite their concerns the pair did end up 'camping' out in the den where they chatted in their cryptic code.

"It's like the icing on the cake and at the moment the cake tastes great," Paul said looking into her eyes.

"Is it like brioche?" Helen asked dissolving into fits of giggles.

Before things got too heated, however, they retired to their respective beds in the house, but not before one more secret exchange.

Curiously, Helen put a towel under her pillow and whispered to Paul, who looked around the darkened room at the cameras. As she got into bed alone Paul wandered off to his own bed, whistling a merry tune.
